Welcome Post!

First off, I want to welcome everyone to my blog of all things TEEN!  This is my first "official" librarian position and I'm excited to share my journey along the way.  My goal with this blog is to create an interactive space for my teens to share their favorite books and movies.  I also want to keep everyone up-to-date with what I'm reading and reviewing.  I will also post the new arrivals to our library and the displays I'm working on.  Not only do I want to interact with teens in my community, I hope this becomes a way to reach out to other teen librarians.  Being a teen librarian can be a lonely profession especially when you don't have anyone to bounce ideas off of.  So, look out for my blog posts and let's help each other out along the way.  I encourage suggestions, comments, questions (general musings, witty retorts, etc)!
